Cricket continues to remain suspended as the novel coronavirus wreaking havoc across the world. Meanwhile, the International Cricket Council (ICC) recently released the latest rankings in three formats. This has given some joy to the cricket fans who are badly missing live actions for some time. According to the latest rankings, Australia for the first time becomes the number one T20I team. According to the latest ranking released by the ICC, Pakistan has been replaced by Australia at the top spot. Since the introduction of the T20I ranking in 2011, this is for the first time that Australia has claimed the number one position with the help of 278 points in the shortest format of the game.

Pakistan was on top of the chart for 27 months. They claimed the spot in January 2018 by replacing New Zealand. With 260 points, Pakistan is now on the fourth spot on the list. England, on the other hand, moved to the second spot, with the help of 268 points. India moved up one place to be in the third position.

India remains at 2nd spot in ODI Rankings

On the other hand, India remained at the 2nd spot in ICC ODI rankings. Men in Blue are just behind last year’s World Cup winner England.
