Bangladesh will take on Zimbabwe in the one-off Test match in next month. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced this on Sunday. The lone test match against the Zimbabwe team will start from 22 February at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium. Both the teams will play three one-day internationals at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on March 1, 3 and 6. All three matches will be day-night affair. After that Bangladesh and Zimbabwe will play two T20 in Dhaka on March 9 and 11.
According to a report published in Cricbuzz, the visiting team will arrive in Bangladesh on February 15. They will play two practice games against board XI on 18 and 19 February.
Bangladesh cricket team is now in Pakistan for the T20I series. In the next phase of the Pakistan tour, they will play two Tests, which will start from February 7. Bangladeshi Test players are presently undertaking skill training under the guidance of batting consultant Neil McKenzie. The South African refused to travel to Pakistan with the Bangladesh T20 side for personal reasons.
