Virat Kohli is currently the top-scorer of IPL
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire IPL 2020 will be plaqayed in a bio-secure environment. Many safety measures have been taken for the players. RCB is one of the most star-studded teams of the IPL. But since the inception of the tournament, the team has not been able to clinch the coveted trophy. But this with new venus and without the pressure of playing in front of the home crowd, RCB would like to lay their hands on the all-important trophy.
Virat Kohli is one of the most consistent players that India has seen over the last few decades. His last appearance for India was during the New Zealand tour earlier this year. India won the T20I series but lost the ODI and Test series. Kohli’s performance on the tour was also below par. Before Australia tour in December 2020, India’s run-machine would like to use IPL to get back to his rhythm.
Virat Kohli has been an integral part of RCB. He is currently the top-scorer of IPL. The Delhi-born batsman so far played 177 matches in IPL. He scored 5412 runs at an average of 37.84. Kohli has five IPL centuries and 35 half-centuries under his belt.
