He is the only Indian batsman to have scored a century at the iconic Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester, England. Old Trafford Cricket ground has witnessed many historical moments. Many hundreds were made in this ground. One such feat was achieved by Rahul.
India and England were facing each other in a T20 match at the Old Trafford on 3rd July 2018. England 159/8 in 20 overs. Jos Buttler scored 69 off 46 balls. Kuldeep Yadav bowled exceptionally well by picking up 5 wickets. His bowling figure read 4-0-24-5. He was declared as a player of the match. In D/L method the target was revised. Men in Blue scored 163 in 18.3 overs, thereby comprehensively winning the match. In batting, KL Rahul scored 101 not out from just 54 balls.
