Young Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has become a regular member in the limited over the squad. Recently he was seen exchanging light banter with Kiwi batsman Martin Guptill.
Indian had a forgettable New Zealand tour last January. The visitors won the T20 series. But later they conceded rout in the hands of the Kiwi. Team India was whitewashed both in ODI and Test series. Yuzvendra Chahal and Martin Guptill engage in light banter
It all started back in January when India visited New Zealand. India started their 5 match T20 series with a boom. Virat Kohli’s men won back to back matches. After the second T20I match of the series, India and New Zealand cricketers were seen taking part in the customary handshake. That’s when Chahal decided to conduct his famous program ‘Chahal TV’. He thought of having a conversation with Martin Guptill. But the Indian leg-spinner got a real surprise! When he approached the Kiwi batter, he jokingly called him G*ndu. Martin Guptil knows Hindi. Both of them laughed about it.
Recently the same thing happened. A few days ago Martin Guptil again termed Chahal as G*ndu! The Indian spinner himself shared a screenshot of his chat with the Kiwi batsman. Guptill typed a message, “How are you G@&$u?.” To which Yuzvendra Chahal replied, “@martyguptill31 come again bro.”
